Frank Francisco out several days with hand injury

Mets manager Terry Collins revealed Sunday that pitcher Frank Francisco will miss “three to four days” after being hit on the hand by a line drive in Saturday’s game, the Star-Ledger reports.

Francisco said that the pain has subsided Sunday, only bothering him when he uses the injured hand. On Saturday, he thought that the hand was “broken for sure.”

Francisco has made just four appearances, giving up three earned runs in 2 2/3 innings while striking out two and walking two.
