Jerome Williams keeps basepaths clear in victory

For the first time since July 31, Jerome Williams pitched seven innings, as he held the Astros to one run in the Angels’ 2-1 win on Sunday. Williams did not walk a batter and allowed only five hits, though one was a solo home run by Marc Krauss.

The Angels’ righty struck out three hitters and hit one with a pitch. He raised his record to 8-10, and his ERA now stands at 4.65.
