Ernesto Frieri gets a two-inning save

The Angels called upon closer Ernesto Frieri to give them two innings, and he delivered a scoreless performance, along with his 34th save, nailing down a Sunday victory over the Astros. Frieri struck out four batters and allowed only one hit.

The outing marked the third time this season that Frieri pitched two full innings, but it was the first time he converted a two-inning save.
