Matt Carson hits first home run

Cleveland outfielder Matt Carson hit his first home run with the club in Sunday’s win over the White Sox.

Carson, a 32-year-old called up with expanded rosters, hadn’t homered in the major leagues since 2010 with Oakland. In 342 career at-bats, Carson owns a .222/.239/.327 line.
